2002
The first mattress
A 12 m² office, $300 and a bankrupt sock factory turned into a workshop.
2004
180 m²
The first real production space and partnerships with Italian furniture importers.
2006
Own furniture
The move from mattresses to bespoke furniture, with eight designers in the team.
2008
A major player
In the middle of the financial crisis, TANDEM becomes a significant manufacturer on the Moldovan market.
2015
Romania
The first showroom in Bucharest, in Ghencea. Within a few months — five.
2017
Petricani
Construction begins on the new 25,000 m² factory, in the company's fifteenth year.
2021
€18 million
Combined sales across both markets, with a profit margin of 7%.
2022
Băneasa
A 1,100 m² showroom in Bucharest and a rebranding under TANDEM CASA.

10 years in Romania
More than 200 premium models and a network of over 150 architects and designers.
